Your new role:
Join a dynamic and growing Medical Imaging team where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting service improvement, education and clinical excellence. In this senior position, you will:
Perform complex diagnostic imaging examinations across general X-ray and fluoroscopy services
Deliver safe, evidence-based and patient-centred imaging services within a multidisciplinary team
Apply advanced clinical judgement in complex patient care and imaging decisions
Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and support to junior radiographers, students and support staff
Contribute to service development, quality improvement and research initiatives
Provide expert clinical advice to colleagues, referring clinicians and key stakeholders
Support the implementation of new clinical practices, protocols and technologies
Participate in after-hours, weekend, night shift and on-call rosters as required
About you:
You are an experienced and motivated radiographer who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. You will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography)
Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
Queensland Licence to Use Irradiating Apparatus
Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality Medical Imaging services in a complex clinical setting
Strong clinical skills in general radiography and fluoroscopy services
Proven ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork
Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting less experienced clinicians and students
A commitment to continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and patient-centred care

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
