About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Express Driver to support our daily express deliveries, collections, and onsite event support.
This role is ideal for an experienced driver who enjoys variety — from running time‑critical express jobs, to supporting event installs and pack‑downs at premier venues, to assisting warehouse operations when required.
You’ll be a key representative of Moreton Hire onsite and on the road, working closely with Operations, Warehouse, and Event teams.
Where You’ll Be Working
This role will see you supporting events and projects at some of the best venues in Queensland, including (but not limited to):
- Convention & exhibition centres
- Major hotels and function venues
- Stadiums, showgrounds, and corporate venues
- Event sites across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and regional QLD
No two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing daily express deliveries and collections
- Supporting event installs, pack‑downs, and onsite logistics
- Driving company trucks for metro and occasional regional runs
- Loading and unloading equipment using a forklift
- Supporting warehouse and despatch operations when required
- Working closely with Operations and Project Managers to meet deadlines
- Representing Moreton Hire professionally onsite with clients and venues
- Ensuring all loads are secured and transported safely
- Assisting with vehicle care and basic checks
Safety & Chain of Responsibility
- Operate vehicles in line with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Follow safe loading, unloading, and fatigue management practices
- Escalate any safety or vehicle concerns to the Operations team
- Take responsibility for safe, professional driving at all times

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- HR Truck Licence (required)
- Forklift Licence (required)
- Experience in deliveries, driving, or logistics roles
- Ability to manage time-critical express work
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and good attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment
Highly Regarded:
- Experience supporting events or onsite works
- Knowledge of Brisbane / Gold Coast metro areas
- Experience working around venues or construction-style sites
