Sedgman is proud to offer the position of Principal Process Engineer to join our team in Brisbane and involves leading and developing the process team, delivering mechanical design solutions and collaborating with stakeholders and other disciplines to deliver projects from concept through to detailed design for our clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide Chemical/ Wet Mechanical (minerals processing) engineering expertise across multiple projects, drive quality delivery and innovation, shape technical strategy with accountability for technical integrity, risk, standards and safety.
- Responsible for technical delivery and release of design packages across all project phases, including pre-award proposals and studies, and post-award detailed design, constructability and operability, ensuring outcomes are fit for purpose, cost effective and delivered on schedule and budget.
- Provide technical governance for the process engineering output on projects.
- Continuous improvement of standards, tools, processes and guidelines for the mechanical engineering discipline to improve efficiency and technical outcomes.
- Assist with the review and coordination of the team’s project allocations to align with project requirements and the individuals’ skills, experience and development needs.
- Provide effective leadership, coaching and mentoring to support and develop the team.
