About the Role:
The business is currently seeking an experienced full-time Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. The role offers a competitive salary of $75,000 to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to take on a leadership role, ensuring the smooth operation of both front-of-house and overall restaurant activities. You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining high standards of customer service, coordinating daily operations, and supporting the continued success and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with our Chefs to plan and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
· Coordinate private functions, group bookings, and special events held at the restaurant.
· Order food, beverages, and other supplies while monitoring costs and budgets.
· Maintain stock records, sales reports, and other operational and financial records.
· Ensure the restaurant complies with food safety, health, and workplace regulations at all times.
· Monitor customer feedback and resolve service issues to maintain a positive dining experience.
· Recruit, train, roster, and supervise front-of-house staff while coordinating with the kitchen team.
· Manage reservations, welcome guests, and oversee the smooth flow of restaurant service.
· Monitor daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service, staffing, and customer satisfaction.
· Work with the management team to develop promotional activities and seasonal campaigns to increase customer patronage.
· Conduct regular team meetings and monitor staff performance to maintain service standards and support ongoing development.
Qualifications:
· Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
· Should have at least one (1) year of relevant managerial experience in the hospitality industry.
Note: Australian citizens and permanent residents are preferred.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
