Woodina Underwriting Agency is an Australian owned underwriting agency looking for an administration officer, ideally with prior insurance experience, however this is not essential. We work with international insurance companies to provide insurance solutions to a variety of Australian brokers and their clients.
Our office is based in Brisbane CBD, and we are looking for a skilled, adaptable, and fast learning team member to join our administration team. This is a permanent role liaising with brokers across Australia. The role is for an immediate start for a full time position.
Role and Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret and load proposals from prospective clients for quoting purposes.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other professional correspondence.
- Maintain an excellent quality of data between systems.
- Provide support to the underwriting team.
- Produce and issue insurance documents.
- Provide excellent standards of service to all brokers.
- General office administrative and adhoc tasks as required.
What we’re looking for
- Exposure to the insurance industry is highly valued.
- Previous administration experience.
- Proficient technological skills including Microsoft office, email navigation and data entry skills.
- Adaptable, capable, and able to quickly pick up new systems and processes.
- Enthusiastic and adaptable persona with exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a varied and fast paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WinBeat is highly desirable.
