About the role
As a Senior Case Manager, you will support children, young people, and carers by managing complex cases and ensuring quality outcomes. Working alongside the Team Leader, you will mentor and support team members, contribute to audits and compliance activities, and help strengthen our Out of Home Care services through collaboration, guidance, and shared learning.
About You
You are passionate about supporting Aboriginal children, young people, and families to achieve strong and positive outcomes. With experience managing complex casework, you bring a trauma informed and culturally safe approach, strong risk assessment skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, carers, and stakeholders. You enjoy mentoring and supporting others, thrive in a collaborative team environment, and are confident representing clients, contributing to quality practice, and supporting leadership across Out of Home Care services.
- Requirements:
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Services, Youth Case Management and/or Social Worker
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in child, youth and family welfare experience
- Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
