Our Busy Organization is looking for an experienced CNC Edge Bander Operator who is passionate about working in a Office Furniture manufacturing facility. The candidate for this position will be a natural leader who would be responsible for the following:
Tasks & Duties:
- Thoroughly studying the purpose, requirement and drawing of Structure /furniture to be made.
- Reading and understanding the technical CAD drawings of various furniture items to be manufactured
- Using various computed aided designs and computer aided manufacturing technologies to ensure the finished product is accurate on measurements.
- Proficiency and accuracy in machine language programming for the CNC machines is essential with the ability to program/modify on the machine CPU. High fidelity in the outcome of the program is of utmost importance.
- Determining tooling and machine requirements and sequencing of machining operations.
- Using the right kind of wood and calculation on the material/ total wood and other material required for the product.
- Operating state of the art highly computerised numerically controlled machinery to ensure the fineness of the finished product.
- Depending on the requirement of the order (Product) using machines like mortice machine, moldings machine, routers, planes, drills and sewing machines
- Cutting and shaping woods as per the drawing and specifications, fitting and fastening frame pieces
- Treating woods with different kind of preservatives to ensure durability and applying varnish, shellac, lacquer, stains, and paint to surfaces, polishing and waxing
- Required to clean, troubleshoot and service machines, sharpening blades or replacing if required
- Working closely with the team and following instructions from supervisor/manager
An ideal candidate should possess a relevant Cert.III or Cert.IV , relevant experience of 01 year full-time and should be an Australian permanent resident or citizen.
What we offer:
· Annual Base Salary: AUD 80,000 TO AUD 85,000 (38 hr/week)
