A specialist flooring company is seeking an experienced Epoxy Flooring Applicator to join our team working across residential, commercial and industrial flooring projects throughout Perth.
We are looking for someone with solid hands-on experience applying epoxy flooring systems. Experience with concrete floor preparation, grinding and repairs is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply epoxy flooring systems to a high professional standard.
- Install plain, flake and other decorative/protective epoxy floor systems.
- Prepare concrete floors prior to coating, including grinding and mechanical surface preparation.
- Carry out minor concrete repairs, patching and crack repairs where required.
- Mix and apply primers, epoxy coatings, broadcast systems and topcoats correctly.
- Work to specified coverage rates, application methods and curing requirements.
- Protect surrounding surfaces and maintain clean, organised work areas.
- Operate floor grinders, vacuums and other flooring equipment.
- Identify substrate or preparation issues before application.
- Work independently and as part of a flooring crew to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in epoxy flooring application.
- Previous experience working with concrete floors.
- Experience with floor preparation and concrete grinding is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of epoxy mixing, application and curing procedures.
- Experience with flake flooring systems is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes.
- Ability to assess floor conditions and identify potential application problems.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools and flooring machinery.
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual work.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Australian work rights.

This role would suit an experienced flooring applicator looking for consistent work with a specialist concrete flooring company undertaking a variety of projects across Perth.
Remuneration will be based on experience and capability.
