About the role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will deliver practical, social and emotional supports based on each participant’s individual plan, always promoting their voice, rights, choices and independence
Your day may include:
- Personal care and daily living support
- Community access and social activities (driving up to 100km)
- Skill building and independence training
- Meal preparation and household tasks
- Emotional support and companionship
- Supporting participants to reach their goals
- Documentation and progress reporting
- Working collaboratively with families and care teams
This role is about building confidence and capacity, not just completing routines.

Experience supporting people with a disability, aged care or complex needs is highly regarded.
Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Driver’s license + reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to use shiftcare app
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability/Community Services/Aged care
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Willing to drive 100kms + during a 5 hour shift
- Must be able to work 10am to 3pm daily (Monday to Friday)
- Must be reliable
