ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Carpenter to join our expanding team.
In this role, you will be involved in:
Fitting out wheelhouse and accommodation areas on new vessels
Preparing vessels for launch
Assisting with fit-out tasks both internally and externally
Performing maintenance and refit work on existing vessels, including windows, doors, and general carpentry
Key Responsibilities:
Constructing and installing cabinetry
Installing ceilings and walls in accommodation areas
Installing ceilings in wheelhouse areas
Fitting out furniture such as dining areas and kitchens
Installing seating and other fixtures
Installing windows
Performing composite work, including mould making
ABOUT THE ROLE
Fitting out Wheelhouse and Accommodation areas on new vessels and preparing vessel for launch. Assisting with other fit out jobs internally and externally on new Vessels. Complete maintenance on existing vessels including, refits, windows, doors etc.
- In this role you will be responsible for:
- Building cabinets
- Installing ceilings and walls to accommodation area
- Installing ceilings to wheelhouse area
- Installing furniture such as eating areas, kitchens
- Installing seating
- Installing windows
- Composite work Mould making
ABOUT YOU: Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Certificate III in Carpentry or Certificate III in Cabinet Making
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Can work within a team.
- Can work unsupervised.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Meet strict deadlines.
- Sound time management and people skills.

Salary - $75,000 - $85,000

- West End WA 6530: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Joinery: 1 year (Preferred)
- Cabinet making: 3 years (Required)
