About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable full-time Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the smooth daily operation of the kitchen.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, works well under pressure, and takes pride in delivering consistent, well-presented dishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard
- Follow recipes, menu specifications, and portion control guidelines
- Assist with menu planning and daily specials where required
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
- Ensure food is stored, handled, and prepared according to food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Minimise food waste and manage kitchen resources efficiently
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Train or support junior kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety
- Ability to work full-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred but not essential
- Food safety certification is highly regarded

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
