Hair Transplant Technician / Surgical Assistant

Hair Doctors is expanding and we are looking for motivated individuals to join as Hair Transplant Technicians or Assistants to join our clinical team.
This role suits candidates from medical, surgical, or healthcare assistant or technician backgrounds who are interested in learning a specialised skill set within hair restoration field. Previous hair transplant experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Full induction and dedicated hands-on training will be provided by our experienced team.

Position Details
- Up to five days per week
- 8-10 hour shifts
- 4 week days + 1 Saturday (weekend supplemental pay provided)
- Ongoing work with increasing responsibility as skills develop
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing the theatre, instruments, and equipment prior to procedures
- Assisting hair transplant clinicians during procedures including graft cleaning, sorting, harvesting, and implanting
- Supporting and reassuring patients throughout their treatment
- Maintaining high standards of infection control
- Cleaning, sterilising, and resetting the theatre following procedures
About You
- A background in healthcare, medical assisting, surgical assisting, or a related field is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity
- A calm, professional, and patient-focused approach
- A willingness to learn and develop specialised technical skills
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work well within a clinical team
