We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sushi Maker to join our growing team at our brand-new food hall located within Frankston Hospital.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, fast-paced environment producing fresh, high-quality sushi and Japanese-inspired grab-and-go products.
Reporting to the Food Hall Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing sushi rolls, nigiri, rice paper rolls and sushi packs
Preparing and portioning fresh ingredients
Ensuring excellent presentation and product quality
Stock rotation and inventory control
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Assisting with food preparation and service during busy periods
Working collaboratively with the wider food hall team
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience making sushi or working in a commercial kitchen
Strong knife skills and food preparation experience
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Reliable transport and flexibility with rostered shifts
Hospitality experience highly regarded
