Location: Fraser, ACT 2615
NurseLink Healthcare is seeking a reliable, compassionate and experienced Support Worker to provide ongoing Domestic Assistance and Social Support for a client in Fraser, ACT.
Service Details :
Domestic Assistance: 2 hours fortnightly commencing Monday, 24 August 2026
Social Support: 1.5 hours commencing Thursday, 27 August 2026
Additional Social Support: 3 hours commencing Thursday, 4 September 2026
Frequency: Ongoing
Duties Domestic Assistance:
- Vacuuming
- Cleaning the bathroom and toilet
- Mopping floors
- Dusting
- Changing bed linen when requested
- General household assistance as directed by the client
Duties Social Support and Shopping Assistance:
- Accompanying the client grocery shopping
- Assisting the client to locate and select items
- Reaching items from shelves and placing them in the trolley
- Assisting with storing groceries at home
- Following the client’s instructions and preferences
- Providing friendly companionship and social support
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Police Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Working rights in Australia
- Previous disability support experience is desirable
- Availability to work flexible hours
