We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily restaurant operations, supervising staff, maintaining service standards and ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently and in compliance with relevant requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Planning menus in consultation with chefs and kitchen staff and assisting with pricing decisions.
- Monitoring food, beverage and operational costs and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Managing purchasing and liaising with suppliers regarding food, beverages and other restaurant supplies.
- Recruiting, training, rostering and supervising restaurant staff.
- Monitoring staff performance and ensuring consistent customer service standards.
- Ensuring dining areas and restaurant facilities are maintained to appropriate cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety and other relevant requirements.
- Handling customer enquiries, feedback and complaints in a professional manner.
- Managing reservations, functions and customer service arrangements where required.
- Maintaining operational records and supporting budgeting and financial reporting.
- Working closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety and customer service standards.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: $73,000.00 – $78,000.00 per year
