MR Truck Driver required on a casual ongoing basis. Monday-Friday, approximately 30 hours per week. We can accommodate some flexibility with morning daily start time.
The truck is a 10 pallet tautliner with manual standard gear box, the warehouse is based in Lilydale, Victoria.
The successful applicant must conduct themselves in a friendly and professional manner whilst performing deliveries.
We are looking for someone that has
- Strong knowledge of Melbourne’s roads and suburbs.
- Strong safety focus and dependable work ethic.
- Knowledge of current load restraint laws.
- Reliable, punctual and has a can-do positive attitude.
- Team-oriented – we are a small business.
Key responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently performing multiple drop deliveries to various customers in and around the Melbourne Metropolitan region.
- Pick up of materials from Suppliers when needed.
- Ensure paperwork and delivery records are complete and accurate.
- Loading, unloading and maintaining a clean vehicle.
Requirements
- Current MR Licence
- A good level of physical fitness and strength as there is repetitive manual handling and unloading involved (up to 25kg per item).
- Vic Roads 5-year driving history report
