About the Role:
The AO plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the college. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Education and Humanities and the Associate Head of School – Business, the AO supports staff, students, and external partners through high‑quality administrative systems, communication, and coordination.
This position would suit someone with a gift for Administration, who thrives in a collaborative, purpose‑driven environment and brings initiative, professionalism, and a heart for service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Administration -supporting staff and academic processes
- Practicum Coordination – including communication with students and industry partners
- Stakeholder Communication – across internal teams and external stakeholders
- Systems and Process Management – to maintain efficient administrative workflows
- Document Preparation – including reports, correspondence and presentations
- Cross-department Liaison – to ensure timely information sharing and coordination
- Event Support – as directed
About You
Skills and Experience:
- Proven high level administrative experience (essential)
- Academic administration experience (advantageous)
- Strong organisation, initiative and time management (essential)
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively (essential)
- Initiative-taking and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate needs.

- Relevant post-secondary qualification (bachelor-level qualification highly regarded).

This is a full-time position. Evenings and some weekend work while very rare may be required from time to time, as negotiated. Remuneration is in accordance with the
Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award (MA000075), rate dependent on the successful candidates’ qualifications and experience.
