This is a Parental Leave relief role and it is anticipated appointment will be until May 2027.
$80,163 pa ($42.53 per hour) + 12% super (level 2)
72.5 hour fortnight

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Venue Support Officer at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC) and play a key role in creating exceptional experiences for our community, both now and into the future.
QSEC is a premier 30-hectare equestrian and major events precinct proudly operated by the City of Moreton Bay. The venue features a covered 3,000-seat main arena, a secondary arena, 154 permanent stables, expansive grounds and camping facilities, making it a versatile destination for a diverse range of equestrian, sporting, community and major events.
As a Venue Support Officer, you will contribute to the successful daily operations of the venue by delivering outstanding customer service and administrative support. In this role, you will:
Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers, hirers and event organisers with venue facilities, resources and enquiries.
Provide efficient administrative support, including managing booking related requests, stakeholder communications and venue reconciliations.
Support the planning, promotion and delivery of venue programs, activities and events, ensuring positive experiences for all attendees.
Assist with venue operations, including event set up / pack down, catering support, technical assistance, procurement and financial processes.
Contribute to venue presentation and maintenance by supporting arena preparation, general venue upkeep and stable operations as required.
Note: The role is Monday to Friday although the successful candidate may be required to work on weekends for major events.

With strong communication, administration and interpersonal skills, you are committed to delivering exceptional service and building positive relationships with customers, hirers and stakeholders.
You bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A passion for events, community engagement and the equine industry will see you succeed in this diverse role, along with a hands on approach to supporting event delivery, venue operations and site presentation.
To be successful in this role, you will have, or be willing to obtain:
Apply First Aid & CPR Certification
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
Experience working with horses or within the equine industry (highly regarded)
