What’s the role?
As a Senior Manager, Business Controls & Monitoring, you'll lead the delivery of non-financial risk reporting, governance, and insights across UNITE and Customer Operations, with a key focus on the growing Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) delivery unit.
Working within the BCM Hub Centre of Excellence, you'll partner closely with senior leaders to deliver meaningful risk insights, facilitate governance forums, and support high-quality decision-making. You'll play a key role in shaping and evolving the risk governance and reporting model for a growing business as CLM continues to expand and mature.
A major focus of the role is transforming complex risk information into clear, actionable reporting for senior stakeholders and governance committees. You'll also drive continuous improvement through standardisation, automation, data visualisation, and AI-enabled reporting solutions
This is a full-time role based in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide with flexible working arrangements available .
What do I need?
- Substantial experience in non-financial risk, operational risk, governance, compliance, or business controls within financial services
- Proven experience producing executive-level reporting, governance papers, and risk committee materials for senior stakeholders and governance forums
- Strong analytical and report-writing capability, with the ability to synthesise large volumes of information into clear, concise, and actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and working across complex
- Experience using technology, automation, reporting, or data-driven solutions to improve governance outcomes and decision-making
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to work autonomously and help build new governance processes within an evolving business environment
