The Role:
The primary focus of the role is maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout warehouse walkways and associated areas. Weekly duties include:
- Cleaning all walkway bollards, including horizontal rails, posts, and swing gates.
- Sweeping walkway floors using a walk-behind sweeper, along with manual sweeping of hard-to-reach areas.
- Scrubbing walkway floors using a walk-behind floor scrubber.
- Conducting weekly pallet bridge cleaning on Fridays, including the pallet bridge area, staircases, and mezzanine levels
- Provide support with broader warehouse cleaning coverage when permanent Senior Hygienist team members are absent.
Shifts:
We have 2 positions available
1. 7 month Fixed Term role with 38 hours per week on Day Shift.
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:15pm
- Friday: 6:00pm - 11:00am
2. A Permanent Part - Time role with 23.5 hours per week on Day Shift.
- Tuesday: 8:30am – 3:00pm*
- Wednesday: 8:30am – 3:00pm*
- Thursday: 8:30am – 3:00pm*
- Friday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
- Start and finish times on Tuesday–Thursday can be flexible for the right candidate.
The Person:
- Must have a forklift license.
- Preference is experience with a floor sweeper/scrubber.
- Will display initiative and have a strong work ethic.
- Can work both autonomously and as a team.
- Can think critically and problem solve.
