This Role:
Location: This opportunity is based in New South Wales, with placement aligned to business and project needs.
Commencing in February 2027, as a Group Investments Graduate, you'll gain exposure to some of Stockland's most significant investment decisions and growth opportunities. Working alongside experienced investment professionals, you'll help assess new opportunities, evaluate transactions and contribute to strategic initiatives across Stockland's diverse portfolio.
Throughout the program, you'll complete three 8-month rotations across areas such as Acquisitions, M&A and Strategy, building your expertise in financial modelling, valuation, market analysis, due diligence and investment decision-making. You'll gain a unique view of how capital is allocated across one of Australia's leading diversified property groups and develop the commercial skills needed for a successful career in investments.

Responsibilities are varied; however, you’ll support the team to:
- Build industry knowledge and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the property and investment sectors.
- Research and analyse market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to help inform investment decisions.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial models, feasibilities and cash flow forecasts used to evaluate acquisitions and investment opportunities.
- Support due diligence activities and contribute to the commercial assessment of potential projects and transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of investment proposals, presentations and business cases for senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to scenario testing, risk identification and financial analysis to support data-driven decision making.
- Learn how Stockland evaluates investment opportunities, allocates capital and delivers long-term value across its diverse portfolio.
- Work alongside experienced professionals across areas such as Acquisitions, M&A and Strategy, gaining broad exposure to investment management and corporate growth initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
- Due to the permanent nature of this role, we can only accept applications from Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australia or New Zealand.
- Completed a degree within 24 months of the program start date (February 2027).
- Graduates studying Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Property Economics, Applied Finance, Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in investment analysis, financial modelling and strategic decision-making.
- The ability to interpret data, identify insights and communicate recommendations to support commercial outcomes.
- Curiosity about property, capital allocation, acquisitions and the factors that drive investment performance.
- People who are inspired, motivated, passionate, respectful of others and keen to make a meaningful impact through their work.
