What you'll be doing
The purpose of this position is to ensure The Children's Hospital at Westmead (CHW) staff and other clients have appropriate stock, storage and distribution of goods. The Stores person will be an active member of a team who are required to provide a timely, accurate and efficient standard of stores services to the hospital. This role will be responsible for ordering, receiving and delivery of stock and non-stock items for the relevant site, ensuring a clean & tidy environment.

Demonstrated experience as a Storeman/Warehousing in stock receiving, putting away, picking & dispatching.

Demonstrated knowledge of stock control procedures preferably using barcoding and Oracle System.

Demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently at all levels with previous customer service experience.

Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (or similar) and previous experience using electronic stock ordering equipment.

Current LF Forklift Licence and NSW Unrestricted Class C Drivers Licence.
