We’re looking for a Utility Locating and GIS Sales Consultant to join our Adelaide team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in utility detection, locating, asset mapping or related markets who enjoys working with customers and wants to represent leading detection hardware and advanced GIS software solutions.

Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Grow C.R. Kennedy’s presence in the South Australian market by proactively identifying new opportunities and promoting our end-to-end asset detection, utility locating and mapping solutions.
- Work closely with customers to understand their challenges and recommend practical solutions that support their field and office workflows.
- Develop and promote innovative workflows that help customers improve productivity, accuracy and confidence in their operations.
- Deliver engaging technical presentations and product demonstrations in person and via Microsoft Teams.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across technical, operational and management teams.
- Support customers through the post-sale transition, helping ensure they are confident and set up for long-term success.
- Prepare and deliver sales plans and strategies to achieve growth targets across key sectors including utilities, local and state government, construction and resources.
- Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to close, tracking performance against budgets and taking action to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
- Represent C.R. Kennedy at industry events and trade shows by presenting, demonstrating solutions and working with the Marketing Communications team.
- Provide practical technical support and field troubleshooting for customers across your territory.
Qualifications and experience:
- Hands-on experience with ground penetrating radar (GPR), utility locators and related detection technologies.
- Practical experience with GIS hardware and software systems, ideally in field-based or customer-facing environments.
- Experience in utility locating, plumbing, surveying, construction or related markets; direct sales experience within a technology or construction-focused business will be highly regarded.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to explain and demonstrate technical solutions to a range of customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A willingness to travel occasionally to support customers, demonstrations and business opportunities.
