We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the dentist/OHT during procedures, ensure a positive patient experience, and maintain the efficiency of the dental practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments.
- Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and care.
Clinical Support:
- Set up and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures.
- Take dental X-rays and ensure quality imaging.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Administrative Duties:
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
- Handle patient billing and insurance processing.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
-Willing to travel across the state of Victoria
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a dental setting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
-Work involves travel in Dental vans throughout the state of Vic
- This position may require standing for extended periods and some physical lifting.
- The work environment is a dental office, with exposure to dental materials and equipment.

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
