The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Specialist Assessor to join our Training & Enablement function, supporting a close-knit assessments team of four working across Brisbane, Hobart and Bundaberg.
This role can be located in Brisbane, Hobart or Bundaberg, offering flexibility while still being closely connected to a collaborative, distributed team across Queensland and Tasmania.
This is more than a traditional credit role. You’ll bring your lending expertise to help lift capability, strengthen decision quality, and support both Lending Operations and our Sales and Broker networks.
You’ll play a key role in:

Assessing and decisioning complex home lending applications

Providing expert guidance on credit policy and loan structuring

Supporting Sales teams and Broker networks

Coaching and mentoring others to build lending capability

Contributing to a better, more consistent lending experience across Queensland and Tasmania
What You’ll Bring
You’re an experienced assessor who enjoys working across complex lending scenarios and influencing outcomes beyond your own decisions.
We’re looking for:

3–5+ years’ experience in mortgage or lending assessment

Strong understanding of loan assessing and mortgage processing

Experience working with or alongside broker and sales networks

Confidence in handling complex or escalated lending scenarios

A collaborative mindset and ability to work across distributed teams in Brisbane, Hobart and Bundaberg

An interest in coaching, mentoring, or improving capability across teams
