We are seeking compassionate, patient, and reliable Male Support Workers to provide person-centred support to a client living with dementia.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with dementia and possess a calm, reassuring, and empathetic approach. They must be able to build trust, maintain consistency in routines, and respond appropriately to changes in mood, behaviour, and cognitive function.
This role includes a combination of active support shifts and sleepover shifts. Candidates must be willing and available to undertake sleepover duties as part of the roster.

- Strong observation skills and the ability to report changes in the client's wellbeing.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with daily living activities as required.
- Supporting the client with community access and appointments.
- Encouraging participation in activities that promote wellbeing and independence.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in behaviour, health, or support needs.
- Following individual support plans and organisational policies.
- Providing support during sleepover shifts and responding to any overnight needs as required.
We are specifically seeking male support workers for this role. The successful candidate will be caring, flexible, professional, and passionate about improving the quality of life of people living with dementia.
Pay: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour
