About the Role
Cheapa Skips is seeking a proactive and organised Administration Assistant to support our busy operations. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers and play a key part in ensuring our daily administrative functions run smoothly. You’ll work closely with our operations and accounts teams to deliver excellent service and keep our business on track.
Key Responsibilities
·Answering incoming phone calls and emails, providing friendly and professional customer service
·Make and change bookings for skip deliveries and pick-ups, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
·Schedule skip deliveries and pickups, coordinating with drivers and customers
·Follow up on bins to ensure timely returs and resolve any related issues
·Chase up outstanding payments from customers, maintaining accurate records of follow up actions
·General quotes for customers and follow up as needed
·Set up and maintain client database to ensure all information is current and accurate
·Prepare and maintain daily and operations reports for management review
Skills and experience
·Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
·Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
·Excellent verbal and written skills
·Confident using office software (e.g. Microsoft Office, email, database systems)
·Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
·Friendly, professional manner with a commitment to customer service
·Ability to work independently and from home
Desirable Qualifications
·Certificate III or higher in Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience.
·Experience with booking or scheduling software
