What You’ll Do:
Set across two iconic heritage-listed buildings in the heart of Chippendale, The Old Clare Hotel is wise beyond her years — down to earth, disarmingly friendly, and curated for the curious. We're looking for a Part time Housekeeping Supervisor who shares that same character: someone with an eye for detail, pride in their craft, and the warmth to turn every stay into something memorable.
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll:
- Supervise and train the housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards across rooms and public areas
- Conduct room inspections and manage reporting systems to keep room status accurate
- Liaise with reception on room changes, special requests, and guest needs
- Maintain inventory and control of guest supplies and amenities
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and WH&S guidelines
- Foster a positive, high-morale team culture, stepping up as department lead when needed
- Contribute to departmental meetings and ongoing training initiatives
What You'll Bring
- Proven housekeeping supervision experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- A sharp eye for detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Solid WH&S knowledge and understanding of hotel policies
- Confident communicator who coordinates well across departments, especially front office
- Comfortable managing schedules, room status reporting, and inventory systems
