In this role, you'll:
Complete work activities to quality specifications by following established procedures, performing measurements to confirm quality both during and on completion of work including completing relevant reports.
Solve routine problems that arise and collaborate with supervisors and managers to resolve complex problems to minimise risks and achieve work goals.
Understand and maintain knowledge of WHS legislation, policies and procedures, assessing and controlling risks, record management and industry requirements to minimise risk and model safe work behaviour.
This is an ongoing full-time role that has the flexibility to be based at either of our Outer Metro locations – Yennora or Russell Vale.
You may be required to work outside of normal working hours, and you may also be required to travel and work at locations away from home on occasion. Allowances relating to working away from home and accommodation apply.
About you
You are passionate about safety and quality assurance and have an attention to detail that is dedicated to the success of our final product.
You have experience providing quality administrative support to Management, ensuring efficient and effective service.
You have proven experience working independently and collaboratively with others. Key to your success in this role is your ability to think outside the box and positively influence others to achieve positive outcomes.
You have an understanding of work procedures and guidelines and the ability to use your literacy and numeracy skills to accurately complete work records.
You are able to plan and organise your work in a high-volume area and complete a variety of tasks including checking safety and quality and entering information into systems and undertaking a range of other administrative processes in order to support maintenance objectives.
You hold a current Construction Industry White Card and a current unrestricted NSW Motor Vehicle driver’s licence.
You may be required to work outside normal working hours and you must be prepared to travel to various work locations away from the base station.
