As part of a collaborative team of Health Professionals and Clinical Assistants, you'll contribute to an essential continuous pathology service and enjoy opportunities to expand your skills in a modern multidisciplinary laboratory.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
Experience in the performance of Chemistry and/or Immunoassay investigations.
Theoretical knowledge and understanding of chemistry and immunoassay principles and procedures
Proven ability to solve problems and show initiative in the workplace.
Well-developed communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated involvement in process improvement and client liaison activities.
Understanding of laboratory quality systems and the requirements of NATA accreditation and ISO certification.
Awareness of the human resource management policies applicable to contemporary workplaces.
The successful applicant will be expected to participate in the Core Chemistry continuous shift roster, and may work a combination of day, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts within each fortnight.
