We’re looking for vibrant and energetic people to work in our growing home services business. This is a casual position with flexible hours and would be well suited someone wanting to work around school pickups and drop offs, and the demands of family life.
About us: Our business provides a wide variety of services such as cleaning, general gardening, hedging and small tree removal, painting, window cleaning, and odd jobs. We have a mixture of regular clients/once offs, and small/large jobs. We provide our services to both private clients, and real estate properties in preparation for lease or sale. No two days are the same!
Details:
- Approximately 5-15 hours of work per week, with scope to increase as agreed
- Jobs are located in the outer eastern suburbs
- Wages are paid in line with current award rates, with potential to increase for the right candidate. Travel time within work hours will be paid, along with a per km vehicle allowance
- All training and tools are provided on the job, and some uniform (T-shirt, jumper and vest) will also be supplied. BYO appropriate work pants/shorts, steel capped boots for gardening, and runners for cleaning
- Long term, there is potential to take on a small leadership role in training and leading new employees as the business grows for those who are interested
The right person will:
- Provide their own car
- Have an eye for detail, and be friendly, reliable and efficient
- Enjoy working within a fun and supportive small team
- Have a Can-Do attitude, strong initiative, and work to a high standard
- Have some experience in gardening and cleaning (keeping a well-maintained home counts!) - no professional qualifications are required
- Have a reasonable level of fitness and strength in order to carry out the required duties – you won’t need a gym membership, we work hard!
- Have some flexibility in their availability
- Be available for an immediate start
