What you'll be up to:
As the Digital Analyst, you will support the operational performance, monitoring and continuous improvement of QMS's national digital asset network. Working within the Technology team, you will monitor the health and performance of digital assets, deliver operational reporting and analysis, coordinate maintenance activities, and contribute to projects that enhance the reliability, efficiency and scalability of QMS's digital infrastructure.
This role combines technical analysis, asset management and operational support to ensure QMS digital assets operate at optimal performance while supporting business growth and innovation.
Monitor the performance, connectivity and operational health of QMS digital assets using approved monitoring platforms and tools.
Identify, investigate and escalate faults to internal teams and external service providers.
Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure digital assets are serviced and maintained in accordance with business requirements.
Support the deployment, commissioning and configuration of new digital assets.
Manage media player inventory, replacement scheduling, repairs and spare equipment registers.
Coordinate with field operations teams and contractors to ensure timely fault resolution and maintenance outcomes.
Produce regular and ad hoc reporting on digital asset performance, network reliability, maintenance activity and operational trends.
Analyse inventory levels, stock consumption, asset utilisation and operating costs.
Support the development and implementation of new tools, systems and processes.
What we’re looking for:
Tertiary degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Technology or a related Information and Communications Technology (ICT) discipline. Advanced Diploma or tertiary degree preferred
Relevant industry certifications or technical training will be highly regarded.
Knowledge of digital asset environments, digital display technologies or related technology infrastructure, with an interest in the out-of-home media industry
Strong technical aptitude with a conceptual understanding of digital media platforms, IT hardware, software applications and supporting technologies.
Sound understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPN technologies, IoT devices and remote connectivity solutions.
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and associated device management principles.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends and support informed decision-making.
Experience using monitoring, asset management or operational support systems to track performance, investigate issues and maintain data integrity.
Strong documentation and process management skills, including the development and maintenance of operational procedures, user guides and knowledge bases.
