Casual Medical Receptionist
We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable Casual Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team at our CBD clinic. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, organised, and committed to delivering excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.
We require someone with experience who is available at least 2 days a week, flexible to cover annual leave, sick leave and covering urgent last-minute shifts if required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients and managing front desk operations
- Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries in a timely manner
- Booking and managing appointments using medical software
- Processing Medicare, DVA, and private billings
- Scanning, filing, and managing patient records
- Assisting doctors and nurses with general administrative support
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
About You:
- Previous experience in medical reception with Best Practice (ESSENTIAL)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficient in using computers and medical software (e.g. Best Practice or similar)
- Flexible availability, including weekends or evenings as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
