ASC Blasting and Coating is seeking skilled and reliable Vehicle Painter to join our growing team in Canning Vale. We offer consistent work, a safety-first culture, and a well-established workplace. About the Role
In this hands-on position you will deliver high‑quality surface preparation across a range of protective systems. Your responsibilities include:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, filing, and priming
- Mix and match paint colours to specifications
- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray-painting equipment
- Mask and protect vehicle components prior to painting
- Repair minor surface imperfections prior to refinishing
- Operate and maintain spray-painting equipment and spray booths
- Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality finish and colour accuracy
- Perform touch-ups and refinishing as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with workshop staff to meet deadlines
- Visa sponsorship opportunities may be available for those already in Perth, Western Australia and suitably qualified for the work.
What We are Looking For
To be considered, candidates must have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of paint systems and application techniques
- Experience with colour matching and paint mixing
- Ability to work efficiently in a workshop environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- A committed, safety-first mindset
- Relevant tickets and certifications (highly regarded but not essential)
- Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends (penalty rates apply)

Pay: $76,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
