About the Role:
The NCH Projects Team is responsible for project scoping, project procurement, project management and works coordination with delivery partners (Infrastructure Canberra and TCH Projects) across all NCH and CHH. Set
The Project Manager will report to the Project Director, Capital Project Delivery (CPD) and will be responsible for leading assigned projects from inception through to post completion phase. The role may require management of staff including admin or project support roles.
The Project Manager will have a detailed understanding of ACT Government Procurement and project delivery methodologies including a comprehensive knowledge of relevant Compliance, Australian Standards, Legislation, Australian Health Facility Guidelines, Regulations, Code of Practice, and the ability to interpret CHS Policies and Procedures.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a number of major CHS projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget, whilst minimising impacts to clinical services from operating within a live hospital environment. This will include a range of construction projects involving demolition works, construction of new buildings and refurbishments of existing buildings. A key element will be engaging with internal and external stakeholders and managing stakeholders expectations to deliver agreed project outcomes. The position is critical to the achievement of the overall objectives of CPD and the broader NCH Infrastructure and Facilities Services Branch.
