About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, safety-focused Mobile Plant Operator to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery across our civil construction and mining projects, contributing to high-quality project delivery within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Reporting to the Team Leader, successful applicants will be required to:
- Operate equipment safely in line with site guidelines and advocate safe working practices within your crew.
- Operate rigid haul trucks, predominantly CAT 777F/G and CAT 789s.
- Maintain self-motivation and contribute to a positive team culture geared toward a long-term career in open-pit mining.
- Show high levels of teamwork by liaising with other mining personnel to ensure target production is safely achieved.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience operating rigid haul trucks in an open-pit production mining environment.
- Minimum valid Australian C Class Driver’s License.
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months).
- Full right to work in Australia (Permanent Resident or Citizen).
- Strong commitment to following health, safety and environmental policies.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
