Casual IT Field Technician / ITAD Technician

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Casual IT Field Technician to support a growing number of projects across Perth and surrounding areas.
This is an exciting ground-floor opportunity to join an established IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and technology services business that is actively expanding its presence in Western Australia.
While the role begins as a casual position with ad-hoc hours based on project requirements, we have several long-term projects scheduled and anticipate significant growth in the region. For the right candidate, we see genuine potential for this role to develop into a full-time position as our Perth operations expand.
About the Role
You will work across a variety of customer sites throughout the Perth Metro area and outer suburbs, assisting with:
- Installation and deinstallation of IT equipment
- Hardware audits and asset reporting
- Equipment testing and basic troubleshooting
- Asset collection and transportation
- Manifesting and recording IT assets
- ITAD and technology refresh projects
- Warehouse and logistics support as required
- Following documented processes and work instructions
- Customer-facing technical support activities
No two days are the same, and this role offers exposure to a wide variety of equipment, environments and projects.
About You

- Physically capable of handling and moving IT equipment safely
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Comfortable travelling throughout Perth and surrounding areas
- A strong communicator with a positive attitude
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Exposure to desktop, laptop, server or networking hardware
- Previous IT support, field technician or ITAD experience
- Asset auditing or inventory management experience
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience working on customer sites
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
