Day to Day Supermarket & Halal Butcher Shop, operated by Caspian Restaurant Pty Ltd, is seeking an experienced Store Manager (Retail Manager – General) to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy supermarket in Forest Hill, Victoria. Key Responsibilities • Manage the daily operations of the supermarket and ensure efficient store performance. • Supervise, train and support retail staff. • Prepare staff rosters and monitor staff performance. • Manage inventory, stock ordering, stock rotation and supplier relationships. • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve profitability. • Ensure high standards of customer service. • Oversee merchandising, pricing and store presentation. • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, workplace health and safety requirements and company policies. • Manage cash handling, POS systems and daily reconciliations. • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Requirements • At least three (3) years of experience in supermarket or retail management. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Experience in inventory control, staff supervision and customer service. • Ability to work full-time, including weekends when required. • Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business Management or a related field is desirable.
