AusCare Partners is seeking a friendly, reliable and compassionate female community support worker for ongoing aged-care services in Rowville and Ferntree Gully.
The position is suitable for a support worker who enjoys providing social support, community access and domestic assistance while helping older clients remain independent in their own homes.
Due to the personal preferences and support requirements of the clients receiving these services, female applicants are required for these shifts.
Available recurring shifts:
- Rowville – Wednesdays, 1:00 pm–3:00 pm
Monthly, starting 16 September 2026
- Ferntree Gully – Fridays, 9:30 am–11:30 am
Ongoing social-support shift
Additional shifts may become available in Rowville and surrounding eastern suburbs.
Applicants who can consistently attend both services are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities may include:
- Companionship and social support
- Community access
- Domestic assistance and light household cleaning
- Shopping and errands
- Transporting clients when required
- Supporting independence and personal choice
- Monitoring and reporting changes in client wellbeing
- Completing accurate shift notes
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience in aged care, disability support or community care
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability, or a relevant qualification
- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, where applicable
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
- Full Australian working rights
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to commit to ongoing recurring services
