Clerk Grade: 9/10
Annual Salary Range: $129,464 - $142,665 plus superannuation
Employment Type: Ongoing, Full-time
Location: Sydney CBD – close to Museum Station (hybrid). You’ll be office-based a minimum of 5 days per fortnight for full-time roles (pro-rata for part-time), with the remaining days worked flexibly as agreed.

At the Independent Review Office (IRO), you’ll help deliver programs that improve how injured people access and experience support within the NSW workers compensation and CTP schemes.

About the role
As a Senior Program Officer, you will manage a portfolio of projects that deliver real improvements to services, processes and outcomes for injured people.
You’ll work across a diverse range of initiatives bringing structure, insight and leadership to ensure programs are delivered on time, on budget and with impact.
You will manage and monitor a portfolio of projects, ensuring integration and alignment with organisational objectives and optimising outcomes.
What you’ll do

Lead and coordinate multiple projects and program initiatives

Identify interdependencies, risks and opportunities across programs

Ensure strong governance, reporting and quality assurance

Build trusted relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

Use data and insights to inform decision-making and track performance

Contribute to continuous improvement and better service delivery across the schemes
The role includes managing project governance, risks, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
You bring:

Experience delivering programs or projects in complex environments

Ideally, knowledge of workers compensation, insurance or human services systems

Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
