At Pieno, we are long established cafe/ casual restaurant in Surry Hills with a lively, local crowd. We are looking for a friendly and reliable Bartender/ Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, cocktails, and other beverages
- Dial-in and calibration to ensure consistency and quality
- Sharing your coffee knowledge with customers (or learning from others!)
- Interact with customers/ locals in a friendly manner
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area
- Restock and manage stock as needed
Requirements:
- Previous bartending and barista experience of 2 years is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
