Preethi International Pty Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Cook with strong skills in continental and Western cuisines for an immediate commencement.

Type: Full Time and Permanent
Key Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and specifications
- Season, garnish, cook, and plate dishes to a consistently high standard
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure all ingredients used are fresh, high quality, and stored correctly
- Maintain consistency in food preparation, presentation, and portion control
- Order, receive, and check kitchen supplies and stock levels
- Comply with occupational health and safety requirements and minimise food wastage
- Assist with the training and supervision of kitchen staff as required
Skills and Experience Required:
- Completion of a relevant apprenticeship, another acceptable trade qualification or a relevant Certificate III with 2 years of on the job training or IV AQF qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant full-time experience in a commercial kitchen
- In lieu of formal qualifications, an additional 2 years of relevant experience may be considered
- Ability to work weekends.
- Must have full time rights to work in Australia.
Remuneration:
- The successful applicant will be offered an annual remuneration in the range of AUD 80,000 to AUD 84,000 depending on skills and experience. Applicable award conditions apply.
- Superannuation will be paid in accordance with statutory requirements.
