Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Estimator to join our team and assist in preparing competitive tenders and quotations for a wide range of projects.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of the estimating process, including:
- Reviewing electrical drawings and specifications
- Measuring quantities and preparing take-offs
- Obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Assisting with tender submissions and quotations
- Preparing cost estimates and budgets
- Liaising with project managers, suppliers, and clients
- Maintaining estimating databases and documentation
- Supporting the team with project handovers
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be required to have:
- Electrical trade qualification or relevant industry experience preferred
- Experience in luxury retail and commercial office fitouts
- Previous estimating experience advantageous but not essential
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and computer skills
- Experience with estimating software (preferred but not essential)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Current Australian driver's licence
