Job Title: NDIS Support Coordinator
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator who can start immediately. As an NDIS Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in helping participants achieve greater independence across all facets of their lives. You will work closely with participants to:

Identify their goals and support needs.
Source and coordinate relevant services.
Ensure effective use of their NDIS plans.
Overcome any barriers they may encounter
Key Responsibilities

Develop strong, collaborative relationships with participants, their families, and external service providers.
Negotiate with providers and help participants understand costs associated with their NDIS budgets.
Draft and complete service agreements and bookings
Take a holistic approach to capacity-building, empowering participants to address challenges and build resilience.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:

A proven track record in the disability sector, with comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS and its processes
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational abilities to juggle multiple participant needs
Requirements

Certificate IV in Disabilities or Mental Health, or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Support Coordinator
NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
Completion of the NDIS worker orientation module
Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
