About the Role
We are now seeking an experienced and values‑driven Residential Admissions & Finance Officer to join our Residential Services team. The Residential Services Admissions Officer plays a key role in supporting admissions to Residential Care. This includes preparing admission applications, completing Residential Care Agreements, and working closely with residents, families, and staff to ensure a smooth transition into care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support residents and families through the admissions process, ensuring clear understanding of requirements, assessments, and financial obligations.
- Maintain and update waiting lists, respite admissions, and related statistics.
- Assist with asset assessments to determine financial status and liaise with the Residential Services Business Manager on financial matters.
- Coordinate client meetings, facility viewings, and admissions with Directors of Nursing/Managers.
- Collaborate with Social Workers, Case Managers, and Health Information Services to support timely and accurate admissions.
- Provide guidance to the Residential Finance Team and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Proven customer service experience with a strong focus on supporting residents and families.
- Knowledge of residential care processes, legislation, and admission requirements.
- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
