About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to support the delivery and development of spiritual care services across Metro North Health. You will coordinate and support volunteers, strengthen partnerships across diverse faith and cultural groups, and contribute to the growth, accessibility, and quality of spiritual care services for patients, families, and staff.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Support the development, implementation and embedding of strategies, systems and processes to improve the spiritual care capacity and capability of Metro North Health.
Support the spiritual care volunteers across MNH, and facilitate communication and relationships between volunteers across MNH sites
Support and facilitate the appropriate recruitment and engagement of Spiritual Care volunteers across MNH facilities, including the development of recruitment criteria and approved training options.
Collaborate with a range of faith/spiritual traditions to support spiritual care volunteers at MNH and establish a pipeline for the future Spiritual Care volunteer cohort for MNH
