Your Role
The AI Marketing Engineer plays a key role in transforming Flybuys’ campaign delivery capability into an AI-enabled, automated and scalable communications engine.
This role will design, develop and deploy intelligent automation solutions, working directly to eliminate manual workflows, optimise algorithmic processes, and enhance campaign operations.
Key accountabilities
-
Design, build and maintain the AI-enabled execution layer that turns structured campaign, offer, audience, creative and compliance inputs into campaign-ready outputs.
-
Develop reusable technical patterns, components and workflows that support the Future of Offers strategy and reduce manual campaign build effort.
-
Connect AI capabilities with existing Flybuys platforms, data sources, marketing systems and approval processes to enable scalable execution.
-
Creative automation and AI assembly
-
Build automation that translates partner briefs and offer inputs into channel-ready creative variations, content blocks, copy, imagery prompts and approval-ready assets.
-
Engineer the AI assembly layer that combines offer mechanics, partner requirements, audience rules, creative assets and brand standards into consistent campaign outputs.
-
Modernise content and asset inputs so they are structured, reusable and machine-readable for automated campaign assembly.
-
Liquid generation and dynamic content engineering
-
Design, build and maintain automated Liquid generation capability for Braze and related campaign platforms.
-
Create reusable templates, dynamic content logic, personalisation rules and error handling to support scalable offer execution.
-
Develop technical QA checks to validate Liquid syntax, offer logic, audience rules, fallback content and rendering before campaigns progress to launch.
-
Campaign workflow orchestration
-
Engineer the end-to-end workflow that moves campaigns from partner brief through build, review, approval and launch hand-off.
-
Identify bottlenecks in current offer and campaign delivery processes and build practical automation to reduce rework, hand-offs and cycle time.
-
Use best-in-class workflow, AI, integration and automation technologies to compress brief-to-live delivery from days to hours.
-
Automated compliance and quality assurance
-
Build automated compliance and QA checks across campaign content, offer rules, legal requirements, privacy, consent, targeting logic and channel standards.
-
Ensure AI-generated or automated campaign outputs are explainable, auditable and traceable from brief through to launch.
-
Partner with Risk, Security, Legal, Privacy and Data Governance teams to ensure automation is safe, compliant and fit for production use.
-
Support the technical build-out of partner-facing campaign submission and self-service capability.
-
Ensure partner inputs are captured in structured, machine-readable formats that can flow into AI assembly, creative automation, compliance checking and campaign build workflows.
-
Work with Product, Partner Success, Technology and Operations teams to ensure portal capability supports scalable and consistent campaign execution.
-
Monitor, test and maintain production AI, automation and integration pipelines to ensure reliability, data integrity and operational continuity.
-
Implement documentation, release management, fallback processes and incident response practices for automation delivered into production environments.
-
Measure and optimise automation impact, including time saved, error reduction, campaign throughput, compliance accuracy and reduction in manual effort.
