Details: The Education Directorate is seeking an experienced leader to advance strategic, legal and operational policy priorities in the areas of child safety and legislation reform.
If you have experience in these sorts of areas, a system lens, and strong leadership skills, this could be the role for you. We need someone who thinks strategically, is organised and has high attention to technical detail, and who can build a positive culture for staff development, collegiality and outcome delivery.
Knowledge of school or other human services operational environments will be highly regarded as the Senior Director will help translate strategic policy priorities into operational actions at the school level.

The position involves hybrid work arrangements between 220 London Circuit and remote. Individual work arrangements can be negotiated with the Executive Branch Manager aligned with team need.
The Education Directorate is undertaking an organisation design program and changes to Directorate structures may occur after this role commences. Candidates should be prepared to work across the entire organisation in the event of structural changes.
