About this opportunity
As the People Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the People Experience Pillar by delivering a consistent and engaging employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. This generalist role requires a solid foundation in HR practices and the ability to proactively manage a broad range of responsibilities, including onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement.
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, this role will work closely with leaders across the region to support our caregivers and office-based teams, helping to create a positive, compliant and engaged workforce.
As we continue to grow, this role will be key to coordinating our people and strengthening our workforce, supported by a newly appointed Business Operations Manager. Based in our Perth Metro region across our Osborne Park and Clarkson offices (primarily Osborne Park), you’ll join a collaborative, values-driven team where your HR expertise can make a meaningful impact and support the delivery of exceptional care.

Key responsibilities

Build strong, trusted relationships with caregivers, office-based employees and leaders across the business.

Coordinate end-to-end onboarding, including, interviewing, systems access, documentation, and first-week office induction

Support caregiver performance through coordination of reviews, probation check-ins, performance management, and development activities

Manage training and compliance requirements, including onboarding training, refreshers, and ongoing upskilling

Work closely with leaders to support caregiver engagement, connection, and retention

Coordinate quarterly caregiver meetings, including planning, logistics, and engagement activities

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and Dovida policies

Support workplace health and safety processes, including incident reporting and return-to-work coordination

Use systems and technology confidently to manage data, reporting, and workflows
About you

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A genuine passion for working with people in a care or community-based environment

Confidence using systems and technology to manage information, training, and compliance

Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Experience in Human Resources is essential, ideally within a generalist role.

Proven ability to lead a small team
A qualification in Human Resources (or working towards one) will be highly regarded but is not essential.
