Casual Process Workers - ongoing long term work
- Weekly roster - work every week, no more 'on call' arrangements
- Canning Vale location with secure parking & excellent facilities
- 2 new shifts available on Day Shift - 10am starts (6-8hrs per shift)
Our focus on quality and exceeding our customer's needs mean that as a business we are continuously growing and currently have a couple of new opportunities available to join our Production team. We have 2 vacancies on our Day Shift. You must be available to work Mon - Thurs starting at 10am. Each shift will go for approx 6-8 hours depending on workload, so flexibility is a must!
About the Role
You will be working in a temperature controlled environment with a friendly team of people. You will need good hand eye coordination and be happy working at a fast pace while also being able to ensure quality work. You will be working across 2 departments, our Day Bag Lines and Pick to Light shift. Some of the tasks involve:
- Checking and packing products according to company requirements
- Working quickly at conveyor belts
- Handling food products appropriately and within strict hygiene standards
- Selecting products according to customer and section requirements
- Cleaning of work areas, machinery and equipment
- Lift/push/pull up to 15kg
- Working in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Able to work in a cold environment set to 4 - 8 degrees
- The ability to work within strict quality standards guidelines
- Have a great eye for detail
- Be an excellent team member with an energetic and flexible approach
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be physically fit and capable of working in a cold environment
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Available to work Monday to Thursday

Whilst not essential previous experience in a FMCG environment working as a process worker would be advantageous.
